What is a Painted Floorcloth? Art for your floors!
From an artistic point of view, Floorcloths are Paintings for the Floor. They are artistic, yet durable and functional. Don’t be afraid to walk on them.
From a more technical point of view, floorcloths are constructed from heavy weight cotton canvas, hand painted, hand finished and completely sealed for protection and long lasting wear.
As an alternative to area rugs they add color and interest to your living space.
I hope that as you wander through this blog site that you get excited about floorcloths. You may want to learn more about them, in which case check out the How To Make section or the Events area to find out when my next workshop is scheduled in Sequim, WA. Check out the Gallery and if you are interested in purchasing a floorcloth or commissioning me to create one for you, please email me, Jean Wyatt.
